How to Install the ArtCraft Craft Apps

Every Craft app publishes native builds for Windows, macOS and Linux (plus FreeBSD and a WebAssembly build). Pick your system for step-by-step help, or use the ArtCraft Launcher to install and update all of them.

Windows

Windows 10 and 11 are listed for the ArtCraft Launcher.

macOS

macOS 11 Big Sur or later is listed for the ArtCraft Launcher.

Linux

x86_64 and aarch64 in AppImage, Flatpak, deb, rpm and tarball form.

The easy way: ArtCraft Launcher

The launcher lists the Craft apps, installs the right build for your OS and processor, verifies downloads against published SHA-256 checksums and tells you about updates. It is early alpha like the apps themselves.

Stay safe

  • Download only from github.com/storytold or getartcraft.com - look-alike "downloader" repositories already exist.
  • The apps are free. Anything charging for the download is not the real project.
  • Check the SHA256SUMS.txt that ships with each release against your download.
  • This site links to the official releases; it does not host installers.
